Prague

Prague

Spring is finally here. The best time for you to see some European cities, so, at this moment Prague ( the capital of Czech Republic ) is our suggestion.

It's often called " small Paris ", because of its architecture, it is also as beautiful as Paris, but of course smaller.

Prague has 1.200,000 inhabitants, and stretches over 500 square kilometres. It is often called " The Golden City " or " The City of Hundred Spires ".

Prague is a mixture of Czech, Jewish and German cultures, and it is definitely one of the most beautiful cities, not only in Europe.

If you love historical monuments, this capital is perfect for you. It has grand Baroque palaces of the Hradčany quarter that join forces with its amazing Gothic cathedral consecrated to St Vitus.

What you must see is former Jewish town. It has beautiful synagogues, and collections of the Jewish Museum.

Prague is also known for the magnificent Charles Bridge, where you can see a lot of talented musicians and artists, who are trying to attract your attention.

Musician will probably play some jazz, or any old school classics, while other artists will draw you amazing caricatures in 2-3 minutes.

The amount of tourists on the bridge is simply unbelievable, you can't almost walk normal, because they are everywhere.

Places you must visit if you decide to go there are : Charles Bridge, Kampa Island, Prague Castle, Prague's Jewish Quarter, Old Town Hall and the astronomical clock and Prague's parks and gardens.

If you are a fan of beer, you will definitely go there, because Czech Republic is widely known for beer, and while you are in the city centre, don't forget to try out their sausages, it is also their speciality.
