Denver, 420 Amsterdam Style

 Denver, 420 Amsterdam Style

One of the most looked up place to visit this year is Denver. It is the capital city of the US state of Colorado. Denver is located at South Platte River valley just on the western edge of High Plains. It is situated just east of the Front Range of Rocky Mountains. The city of Denver became famous in 2013 when it was the first state to legalize recreational marijuana in Colorado. Ever since the legalization of marijuana, tourism has taken a huge leap. There are a lot of hotels that have come up which are 420 friendly. While you are here, a visit to Denver's booming brewery is a must along with indulging yourself in food scenes. You can get a free tour of the Great Divide Brewing Co or the Breckenridge Brewery. If you are willing to shell out $42 per person, you can check out the hotspots on the Denver Brews Cruise. There are many other things that can be done here rather than relaxing over a 420. If you are an art lover, you can mesmerize yourself with the contemporary masterpieces by the great Matisse, Picasso and O'Keeffe at the Denver Art Museum. The first Saturday of the month at the museum is free and other days the tickets pricing for adults are $13, $10 for students and seniors and $5 for people of ages 6-18 yrs. If you are a nature lover, then a visit to the Denver Botanic Gardens are a must. Irrespective of what season it is, this garden is always breath taking. Most preferred hotel by travellers is the Hampton Inn & Suites. It is three block from the 16th street mall.
