Lufthansa’s automatic check-in for all flights in Europe

From now on, Lufthansa passengers will be able to begin their journeys much more relaxed. They will benefit from automatic check in procedures for all flights across Europe.
The boarding pass will be sent automatically to every passenger who booked their flight within 24 hours before departure, with zero need for any manual check ins. It will save plenty of time for everyone and will make travel prep much easier.
To be able to use this service, Lufthansa customers have to enter their details in their Miles and More account, or their Lufthansa ID profile.
On top of this excellent service, all the services that passengers have had access to before, such as changing seat assignments, or activating an electronic luggage tag at home, are available with the automated check in as well.
This service is available on all flights with Lufthansa, as well as for bus and train travel on the Lufthansa Express Rail and Bus. However, it is not available on any flight outside the Schengen area. Passengers outside the Schengen area will be required to check in manually. The service can be deactivated at any time in the customer’s profile if a passenger wishes.
This service is not only limited to those with a Lufthansa ID or Miles and More profile. Those without can sign up for the automatic check by using a link available at their booking confirmation. It will only be valid for that particular flight, however.
