Where Does Wizz Air Fly?

Wizz Air was registered in 2003, and had its first flight on May 19, 2004 taking off from Katowice.

Routes and Destinations

Today, Wizz Air flies over 500 routes in Eastern and Central Europe from 27 bases. You can board a Wizz Air flight from Katowice, Warsaw, Lublin, Gdansk in Poland; Debrecen and Budapest in Hungary; Bucharest, Tirgu Mures, Iasi, Cluj-Napoca, Sibiu, Timisoara, and Craiova in Romania, Varna and Sofia in Bulgaria. You can also catch the flight from Kyiv in the Ukraine, Chisinau in Moldova, Belgrade in Serbia, Prague in Czech Republic, Skopje in Macedonia, Tuzla in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Vilnius in Lithuania, as well as Kutaisi in Georgia.

More Than a Decade of Growth

By 2015, Wizz Air had continued to register continued growth and it completed a successful initial public offering (IPO) on February 25, 2015. It was issued at the London Stock Exchange and it is listed on LSE under WIZZ ticker. The airline currently employs over 3000 people and it is continuously looking for opportunities to expand its brand and network of destinations while at the same time remaining the cheapest airline.

Wizz Air has a relatively new single type airbus fleet comprised of several A320s and one A321ceo. When flying to the above destinations and for an additional cost you can enjoy bus transfer to your hotel, as well as cheap car rental and cheap hotels to make your trip worthwhile.
