Tenaya Lodge in Yosemite is an elegant resort

There are several excellent hotels and resorts in Yosemite, but none is better than the Tenaya Lodge. It is an elegant resort, Four Diamond, nestled right in the evergreen peace of the central California High Sierras. It is a premier destination resort, and your gateway to four seasons of Yosemite National Park. You can rest, play, and rediscover life’s pleasures from the comforts of your guestroom.

The resort offers multiple dining options and a world class spa. It is situated two miles from the southern entrance of the great Yosemite National Park. It is a 35-acre resort surrounded by the Sierra National Forest.

The lodge was built in 1990, and renovated for future use in 2009. It has several indoor pools, spa tubs, an ice skating rink, and a climbing wall on the grounds.

The resort has over 15,000 feet of conference space for your business needs, and the complimentary health club offers women’s and men’s saunas, plus steam rooms. Even more pampering is available in the Tenaya Lodge day spa. There’s even a kid’s club for children ages 5-12, and a video arcade with other offerings.

Guests dine on Sierra Alpine cuisine in a beautiful spacious room with an incredible, towering limestone fireplace in a western style restaurant. They also have a pizza loft for the kids, a bar and grill with a specialty menu just for the children in the group, and a turn of the century style deli.

There is a valet service available. Dogs receive free doggie treats and a supply of “poop scoop” disposable mittens. Along with this, they offer pet-sitting services.
