What Country or Countries Offer Yurt Accommodations?

Yurts are an excellent accommodation alternative. They offer a blend of space and cost. They are quickly becoming very popular in the tourism industry, and a lot more people prefer yurt accommodation to Hotels because of their affordability and proximity to nature.

Because of the high demand, more and more countries are starting to jump on board by having yurt accommodation to improve their tourism experience. Because they are native to Mongolia expectedly, the yurt accommodation business there is thriving and very vibrant. Additionally, most of the yurts still adopt the ancient look that adds depth to your visit.

Scotland

Scotland is also a great place to find a yurt. They happen to be more popular in the farmlands, coastal retreats and lochside hideaways. They offer quick access to the beaches and a serene environment where you can enjoy the pleasures that nature has to offer in a quiet and picturesque surrounding.

Ireland

Ireland is also warming to the idea of yurt accommodation and, in particular, Northwest Ireland. There is a luxury yurt camp that was opened a couple of years ago that features three hand-crafted yurts for between two and five people complete with king size beds and pot-bellied stoves. It is the perfect place for the traveler who wants to stay close to nature.

Portugal

Portugal is well known for its diverse tourism palette, and when it comes to luxury accommodation and glamping, it outshines others. Near the town of Silves in the heart of Algarve, visitors are treated to a variety of ancient yet luxurious accommodation. The location features beautifully finished Mongolian yurts with a raised veranda. Other options include a Dutch Gypsy caravan.

France

France is also catching up to the competition and has the Ecovallee Yurt Camp in Dordogne where you can enjoy the comfort of a yurt and the proximity of nature.
